While Olympic contests were waged, BACKGAMMON BY THE BAY had its own awards ceremonies. These folks went to the podium:
Beginner's section (8 players):

Intermediate section (14 players):
Main Gold - Ira Ofsink
Silver - Robert Rosetti

Open section (14 players):

Silver - Tom Henson

Kit goes home with the Triple Crown, having bested the field and pocketed both side pools to boot.

It's hard to believe we've had a half a year's worth of BACKGAMMON BY THE BAY tournaments! While we feel "established" enough to say we'll be around to celebrate a first anniversary, we hope to get there reflecting the whims and wishes of our players.
