Congratulations to you all!

Far and Away Backgammon: The out-of-towners knew a good thing when they saw one. BGBB welcomed faces from lots of places to our tourneys in August: locals Joe Glazier and Kim Scheinberg (with husband Dan and new baby, what a pretty picture!) checked in after too long away; Sam Ahmed took a happy hop down from Sacramento; Cindy Moss visited from Newhall, California; Gene Chait revved over from Reno; Gregg LaRue came from Reston, Virginia; and the longest long-distance award this month goes to Stephen Nelson, bringing greetings from Hong Kong.

Y'all come back again soon, please!

It's new, it's in San Francisco, and it's early. Third Sundays in September, October and November are BGBB's second monthly venue, at the Marines' Memorial Club. The tourneys in SF start at 11:00 a.m. Final sign-ups will be taken at 10:45 a.m. First Sunday tourneys in Alameda maintain their 12 noon start times, final sign-ups at 11:45.
