Congratulations to you all!
Congratulations to 2001 Player of the Year, Elliott Winslow. He got off to a fast start with 2nd place in January, 1st place in February and March, then 1st place Consolation in June and July, and finished up with 2nd place in August.
The crown and sceptre (well, maybe a batch of scrumptous brownies) will be bestowed on Elliott at the 2002 kickoff tournament in Oakland on January 13th — come join the party!
Congratulations to Cindy Moss, the 2001 Intermediate division Player of the Year. Cindy is our first BGBB player to earn two Player of the Year awards. She won the Beginners prize in 1999.
Congratulations to Comet, the 2001 Beginner division Player of the Year. Comet made such strides in the Beginners division, that he moved himself up to the Intermediate division in October.
A new membership year starts with the January tournament. Come on down and support your local club! Your membership fees fund the money-added summer tournament, and the Player of the Year awards. $20 for the calendar year, and you save $5 every tournament you play.
